The Fox Fires explores the traditions and spirit of storytelling, celebrating, and honoring the roots of Country and Americana music across the landscapes of North Carolina and beyond.

This new project came together in the fall of 2025 and features established members of the North Carolina music scene including Sean Hayes (The Whiskey Smugglers), Randy Jones (Texoma), Linus Owen-Garni (Texoma), Luis Rodriguez (6 String Drag, Charles Latham & the Borrowed Band, The Shoaldiggers), and Zach Terry (The Whiskey Smugglers, The Magnolia Collective, Texoma).

The Fox Fires are currently recording their debut album with Saman Khoujinian and Kirk Stirland at Small Pond Farm Studio in Chatham County, NC.
